Dolly Levi is a widow, a strong-willed matchmaker, and also a professional meddler - but everything changes when she decides that the next match she needs to make is for herself!  Set in turn-of-the-century Younkers and New York City,  Hello Dolly! is charming from start to finish! The show has a rich history and box office success, opening on Broadway in January of 1964 followed by an Academy Award winning film in 1969.

Who We Are

NWP was founded in 1978 by a group of passionate theatre personalities from the area. As a vibrant community theatre, we are made up of neighbors, friends, and co-workers; we include teachers, students, engineers, parents, pastors, laborers, and retirees from all walks of life. During our productions, we transform into carpenters, technic

As a vibrant community theatre, we are made up of neighbors, friends, and co-workers; we include teachers, students, engineers, parents, pastors, laborers, and retirees from all walks of life. During our productions, we transform into carpenters, technicians, artists, actors, singers, directors, seamstresses, and creators! Our payment comes in the form of the opportunity to meet new friends, the applause of an audience, and the satisfaction of being part of a fantastic show.  Northwoods Players  has something for everyone!
